On 2 February, we auctioned a large part of the private art collection of the late North Limburg artist Dries Engelen (1927 - 2021) amid great interest. Besides works of art, modelling furniture and furniture from the old V&D building in Maastricht, among others, also went under the hammer. The viewing days of this auction were on Saturday 31 January and Sunday 1 February from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in his beautifully converted horse stable on the estate of Meerssenhoven Castle. During these viewing days, his life partner Carla and children gave a special insight into their lives and told more about the special works.
